I have film with optical / magnetic sound ?
No problem the cost is the same. NB some films although they have magnetic stripes or optical may not have had sound recorded.

How does HomefilmstoDVD transfer cine film ?
We use a High Definition camera to video directly from the film no mirrors involved and therfore no light loss.

Does HomefilmstoDVD Flicker ?
No the camera is synced to the projection system

How does HomefilmstoDVD Create DVD ?
We make a master adjust for colour correction and create DVD with a simple menu consisting of thumbnails. If you supply titles they will be placed under the thumbnails. If you do not supply titles they are simply numbered 123 etc.

How much does HomefilmstoDVD Charge for copies ?
£8 per Disc

How many reels can you put on 1 DVD
Approximately 30 3 inch reels per DVD.

How do I send my films to you ?
Please use Royal mail Special delivery we have found it to be extremely dependable. Use protective padding where applicable.

How many feet per reel ?
3" (50ft) = 3min - 5" (200ft) = 12min - 7" = (400ft) - 24min
